Thank you from OCDSB

To stop the spread of this COVID-19 pandemic and to keep everyone safe, it’s important that we stay home and practice physical distancing.

 

While we do our part, there are thousands of people, across the city, who are working hard to make sure that we are taken care of. There are health workers working tirelessly to help those who are sick. There are police officers who are making sure we are safe all the time. There are grocery store and restaurant workers who are going to work to facilitate us staying at home and even delivering food to our doorsteps.  

 

At the OCDSB, we are committed to building a Culture of Caring. So for all of those selfless people taking huge risks to support us during this emergency, let’s say a big “Thank You!”

 

We ask our OCDSB families to join us in thanking these frontline warriors.
From creative videos and art to thoughtful letters, here are some of the amazing contributions we have received so far:



How can you say Thank You?

Write a letter: To a frontline worker responding to the COVID-19 pandemic - it can be a health worker, police officer or grocery worker. Download this template and write on it. Confused about what to write? Use this template.

Draw a picture: Sketch? Paint? Your choice. You have a blank canvas. Want to colour in? Download this template and start colouring.  

Create a video: Sing a song for them or do a little dance? Make a short film? Get as creative as you can.  

 

To share your letter and/or artwork, take a picture and share them with us. You can send your content (letter/picture/video) to us via any of these three methods:

  3. Use this Google Form.

We will make sure that each and every contribution is shared with those frontline warriors. Please include your details when sending us the content via email or the Google Form. We will only include first name and age when sharing materials publicly.
