The OCDSB is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative local agreement with the Ottawa-Carleton Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario. Details of the agreement remain confidential until ratified. Ratification must be completed by February 15, 2024.
OCDSB Director of Education Pino Buffone said, “This is great news for our district. Students, staff, and families all benefit from stable and continuous teaching and learning environments. Our elementary teachers do exceptional work and we are pleased to have been able to work with their Federation to finalize this agreement.”
This tentative local agreement comes following the ratification of an agreement at the provincial level with the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario earlier this week. The Ottawa-Carleton Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario represents teachers and occasional teachers in OCDSB elementary schools.
