May 17 is the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia

On May 17th, communities around the world recognize the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. The OCDSB is committed to continuing to work together to build an inclusive, supportive environment for all students, staff and families. Students, families, and staff of all gender identities and expressions should always feel physically and emotionally safe, welcomed and accepted at school. Today and every day, stopping harassment and discrimination is everyone’s responsibility.

The OCDSB is committed to building a culture of caring, which prioritizes the dignity and well-being of students in inclusive and caring classrooms. For resources and additional supports, please take a look at our page of 2SLGBTQ+ Supports at the OCDSB.
