Indigenous Summer Learning

This summer, the OCDSB is offering an Indigenous Summer Learning program for First Nation, Inuit and Métis students going into grades 9 to 12.

Through this program, students will be able to earn a secondary credit through cultural connection. Students will participate in Indigenous language learning, learning on the land, and engaging field trips. They will also have opportunities to connect with Indigenous community partners.

The program will take place from July 15th to August 2nd, 2024 at Urban Aboriginal Alternate High School and other locations. Lunch and transportation will be provided.

Students can complete this form to register by June 28th. If you have questions about the program, please contact Kris Meawasige, Team Manager, Indigenous Education at [email protected]
