All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Each year, Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10th. It is the date that the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in the wake of the Second World War.
This foundation of equality and dignity grounds our work at the OCDSB. We are vested in reducing inequalities and advancing respect among all of us, for the human rights of everyone.
