Hello Students,

Remembrance Day - November 11

Each year, we honour the commitment and sacrifices of all who have served and continue to serve in times of war, conflict, and peace. Find out about Remembrance Day events happening in Ottawa this weekend.

Diwali - November 12

Wishing a very Happy Diwali to all who are celebrating! Also known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is associated with a story about the destruction of evil by Lord Vishnu in one of his many manifestations.

Safe Schools Reporting Tool - An Anonymous Reporting Option for Students

The new reporting tool is a private and anonymous way for students to share their concerns. If you are feeling unsafe or worried about a friend or classmate, simply send an anonymous report through our website: ocdsb.ca/report-it. You can share many different things, like: bullying, harassment, threats, hate or discrimination, mental health concerns, vaping or drugs, or other concerns that are affecting you or someone else.

This tool is not a replacement for talking to your teacher, guidance or your principal. It’s just another way to get help. If it's an emergency or someone is in danger, call 911 immediately.
