Dear OCDSB Families,

It was superb to take part in the celebration of students who have completed the International Certificate Program (ICP) coordinated by the Ottawa-Carleton Education Network (OCENET) at 440 Albert Street on Thursday night... a terrific accomplishment tied to our District's 'Exit Outcomes', including 'global awareness'. Congratulations to the 138 students who achieved this impressive credential... the largest-ever cohort for the ICP to date!

Last night, the Premier of Ontario announced a cabinet reshuffle. The new Minister of Education will be the Honourable Todd Smith, MPP for Bay of Quinte. We look forward to working with Minister Smith and extend our best wishes to the Honourable Stephen Lecce who has been appointed as the Minister of Energy and Electrification.

Final Evaluation Days and Exam Days for Secondary Students

The final evaluation may occur just before or during the final evaluation and exam days. The final evaluation for grade 9 and 10 students may include (but are not limited to) portfolio reviews, exit interviews, performance tasks, lab activities, and collaborative tasks. However, grade 9 and 10 students will not have traditional exams. For grade 11 and 12 students, the final evaluation may consist of an exam, test, portfolio review, exit interview,  performance task, lab activity, collaborative task, project, essay and more. Learn more
