School Council Spotlight: Elgin Street Public School Peace, Love, and Friendship International Gala
Elgin Street Public School held its first ever Peace, Love, and Friendship International Gala on April 12th. Led by the school’s Parent Council Team, educators, students, and community members, this event celebrated the community's diversity through food, music, dance, poetry, and storytelling.
The gymnasium was decorated with beautiful flags, artwork, and decorations to highlight the many cultures represented by the school community. The gala shared gourmet treats from cuisines around the world and featured performances and acts from the school community. All of this was supported by the student and parent emcee team. The event was a great success, with around 250 guests in attendance!
