Posted on 04/13/2023
In Orthodox Christianity, Holy Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, while Easter celebrates the resurrection. This is the most significant celebration of the year for Eastern Christian churches and orthodox churches, and is celebrated in many different ways around the world.
According to the Julian calendar, Holy Friday takes place this year on Friday, April 14th and Easter is Sunday, April 16th.
We wish a Happy Easter to all who are celebrating!
