All About High School: Virtual Information Session for Students and Families - November 27th
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board invites you to a virtual information session to learn all about high school! This event is designed for students in Grades 7-12 and their families.
When: Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Google Meet
We'll explore the exciting opportunities that await students in high school, including:
- Courses and Programs: Learn about the wide range of subjects and programs available to help students discover their passions and interests.
- Support Services: Get information about the many ways we support student success, from academic help to mental health and well-being resources.
- Pathways to the Future: Explore the different paths students can take after high school, whether it's an apprenticeship, college, university, or the workplace.
You'll also have the chance to ask questions and get answers from our knowledgeable staff.
We'll cover topics that matter to you, such as:
- How courses are taught and how student progress is reported.
- The importance of athletics and extracurricular activities.
- Our commitment to equity and inclusion for all students, including Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ students.
