The OCDSB in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Service Canada, is organizing a CRA vs Service Canada virtual workshop for parents and guardians. This virtual webinar will be held on March 31, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In this session, CRA representatives will share information about taxes, benefits and credits that are specific to modest income individuals and why they should file their taxes so they can get the benefits and credits they may be entitled to.
Following the CRA presentation, Service Canada representatives will provide information on the services they are offering - what is a Social Insurance Number; how to obtain a SIN; how to look for work and they will talk about other services that are offered to Canadians.
