The goal of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department is to obtain the best overall value for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board in meeting the requirements of our school learning environments and learning resources. Competitive bidding is the process used in obtaining all our purchases, and represents an opportunity for the vendor community.

We welcome vendors who are committed to providing quality goods and services in a timely fashion.

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board has transitioned to an eProcurement Tool!

The Supply Chain Management Division at the Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) has launched a fully-integrated online eProcurement tool.

Only Registered Plan Takers will be able to submit to future OCDSB bid opportunities.

District is excited to announce that it now accepts online submission of bids through the bids&tenders platform If you are already registered with the Board or bids&tenders you don't need to do anything!

Bidders are invited to create a free Bidding System Vendor account by visiting our Bid Opportunities website at https://ocdsb.bidsandtenders.ca and clicking on the "Create Account" button. When creating an account, Bidders select commodity code(s) for goods, services and construction and the Bidding System will notify the Vendor by email of any Bid opportunities matching their commodity code selection.  Once you have registered for a specific bid opportunity you will now be able to submit online by clicking on the button "Start Submission".

Vendors will benefit from the following:

  • Automatic notifications of new bid opportunities, addenda, site meeting reminders & bid results
  • Unlimited document downloads and addenda notices
  • Unlimited category subscription for bid matching
  • Access to bid results after evaluation

  • Ability to add up to 10 contacts to your account
